Hi, I'm Herb Flores.
I am a computer support technician in New York City. On a daily basis I travel from site to site helping people with their computer problems. I am also a developer of database solutions using Filemaker Pro.
Well, I spend an enormous amount of time traveling throughout the city and I carry my data with me everywhere. A while ago decided to start decentralizing my data so that I didn't have to carry a notebook around all the time.
Over the years I've used devices running PalmOS, Windows Mobile and currently Android. I've tested online operating systems, online storage, calendars (paper, digital and online) and loads of other items to try to stay on top of my data while mobile.
I hope this will help other people who are trying to make the move to Homeless Data and untether themselves from a single computer or location.
